AFM (http://www.afmwords.blogspot.com/) challenged us to list "100 things about you". I went with the most obscure stuff that doesn't pop up in regular conversation.
1. I have had blue hair.
2. And green hair.
3. And pink hair.
4. Unfortunately, orange as well.
5. I am a vegan: I do not eat dairy, eggs, fish, meat, etc.
6. I love to cook & I am a cookbook junkie.
7. I made mead for my wedding.
8. I stopped drinking milk in elementary school (hated it).
9. I am bowlegged.
10. I wish I had braces when I was younger-I hate my smile.
11. I have pierced my ears 11 or 13 times.
12. I am too lazy to go the mirror & check.
13. I love science fiction & fantasy.
14. I tend to read 95% female only writers.
15. I have spent time on a commune.
16. I take belly-dancing classes.
17. I love yoga; if taught properly.
18. I am envious; I never feel worthy.
19. I do not have any tattoos; but I hope that changes soon.
20. I was a goth when I was in university.
21. I have never been in a band, but was asked to be in one several times. I just have no musical talent (including singing).
22. I used to be on student radio as a dj.
23. I used to play LARP (live action role playing)

41. I worked one summer as an elevator operator.
42. I used to pretend that I was a POW and I’d stop the elevator between two floors & turn off the light to get it as dark as possible (it was not a busy elevator).
43. I am paranoid about email. I check it at least once a minute.
44. I am awful at scrabble; I just cannot think of any words.
45. I am good at visual games; I have a good visual memory.
46. I love technology, but I do not necessarily understand the stuff behind it.
47. I have rosacea.
48. I sunburn really easy, so I avoid the sun at all costs.

51. I need to get new glasses.
52. I get headaches & suffer from a sore neck.
53. I lost the use of my (dominant) arm for a month in university. I have repetitive strain syndrome.
54. I have been to Europe and Asia, but never to Africa (one day!)
55. I love taking walks at night and looking into people’s houses.
56. I met my husband at university. The first night we met, we saw a band called kitten with a whip.
57. I have met lots of musicians.
58. I have been in a movie with Nicholas Cage & Gary Sinise (Snake Eyes). I was part of the crowd.

64. I do not go to Church regularly, and I do not feel guilty. But I love Church architecture.
65. My favourite holiday is Halloween.
66. My least favourite holiday is Thanksgiving. I just do not get its importance. Although I like the day off. (Canadian thanksgiving celebrates something different than US thanksgiving).

68. I pretty much wear only black, although I am trying to interject a few colours into my wardrobe.
69. I love watching the earth from a plane window.

74. I am scared of the dark, and what’s beneath my bed.
75. The first time I saw X-files, I was scared to leave the sofa (and my feet were not on the ground).
76. I love the movies Rivers Edge & FaceOff.
77. I love action films the best, I am not a chickflick person.
78. Post-apocalypse films are my favorite! Biggest bang for my buck.
79. I have very wide and very narrow feet. It is a challenge to find comfortable shoes.
80. I love decorating magazines, but struggle with my house.

83. The first time I arrived at the hospital 45 minutes before my daughter was born.
84. I lay on the floor & moaned. I got served first.
85. I am lazy about shaving. I wear pants a lot.
86. I have been on local TV several times, as have both my kids.

89. I love making wish lists. Receiving isn’t as much fun. J

100. I nursed my daughter for 3.5 years; I am still nursing my son.
